Entrepreneurship is not something you can teach a person. It is not something you can pick up from a book, but rather, is a hunger that exists within someone who gets a genuine thrill from cutting a deal, no matter how large or small it is. You may be born with this hunger, or you may discover it years down the line when everything falls into place and you realise that what you really want out of life is to be in control of your own destiny. No matter how they found their hunger, one thing is true of all entrepreneurs; they are a special sort of person who is prepared to take a risk for the chance of success. Entrepreneurs should be celebrated and supported as their bravery forms part of the lifeblood of the economy and that is why Business Link Northwest is backing RAW 2010. When I was starting out in business, in my days before I joined Business Link, I would have jumped at the chance to attend an event as refreshing as RAW.
